Music!

Today I'm going to talk about music, and specifically, about a singer that I like a lot. Even though that I really don't have a "one" favourite singer and also a " favourite song", I'd like to dedicate this blog to her, I mean Mon Laferte. Mon Laferte is a chilean musician settled in Mexico about 11 years ago. She's not just one musical "genre", instead of another artists, she prefered to mix a lot of genres and also moving from one to another, and that has been reflected on her 5 albums music.

So, an artist that have sung from rock to blues, or latin pop and folk, even bolero and salsa, makes of her a very versatile singer. She doesn't want that people classify her in just one genre and she has been talking about this a lot on her interviews. In addition to the above, she also is a very expressive artist, on her shows she really want to demonstrate that she's feeling what she's singing, a proof of that is the way of she sings on the stage.

Hence, and also to summarize all of her evokes, I think that she is really a very complete artist and I like all of her songs. Each of her songs represents a truly emotion and she can achive that on a very exactly way, that's because of her eloquence and power. Thus, I guess that yea.. she's like a "favourite" or almost one. But isn't because of she as a person, isn't a fanaticism, it is rather what she has been achieving on the stage, all of her effort and attitudes to make of her a truly artist not just for the money but of her people and what she believes.
